I know I don’t know the team personally… I know I don’t know kobe personally. And I may be over reacting just cuz of one player.. Just cuz it’s just basketball…it just feels so much bigger than that.. damn. I feel like I’ve just got in a bad car accident… Or something.. A feeling of emptiness… Like I lost someone close to me.. I don’t even know an equivalent situation to compare what I’m feeling.
I was holding back tears last night… This morning… Was worse. I just feel shitty and I just wished it never had happened. Honestly, I blame d’antoni. I would have not let my player continue playing after he got injured twice in a span of 15-20 minutes. Seriously what the fuck was he thinking. It’s one thing to allow the player to play because its his own decision but its another thing to know what is better for your players. And the fact that he played the entire fucking night til that point of his “probable torn Achilles”?!! Honestly, Mike is dead to me. Even though it is what it is and nothing can change that… He is just straight up dead and I hope he finds another job in the nba other than this. Cuz he’s horrible at it.
I had faith in the coach. Gave him plenty of chances gave him plenty of room to just show his worth. But he’s slow. And kobe is suffering because of his mistake.
It was so hard to watch him get injured 3 times in one night, to see red eyes from the tears he was trying to fight off for his interview in the locker room, and just the fact that he was close to admitting defeat….. Just cuz Barkley and Shaq had to end their career cuz of the same injury that he had last night… It was just hard to see sadness in his eyes..
I know he’ll come back stronger. He always does. Like he said..It’s just complete bullshit. This whole season was just drama… Drama… Adjusting… Drama… Injuries…dr. Buss’s death.. More injuries… More drama…
But whatever the case…. Yesterday was not his last game. And we will all witness the comeback of the black mamba. My prayers will always be with him and my team. On to the next…
